The 15th Annual Minty Awards

About

The Minty Awards is an annual awards show honoring and showcasing the students in the Theatre Departments of the Staten Island high schools. ​ The award recipients are chosen by a panel of esteemed judges, with many years of proven success in the Theatre and Theatre Education, who view each school’s production in person or via videotape, and score the actors and elements in accordance with the rules set forth in the governing documents for The Minty’s. At The Minty’s, each school performs a seven minute medley from its musical production, accompanied by a live orchestra, and fourteen awards are handed out.
