Michael McIntyre is a comedian, broadcaster, writer and one of the most recognisable faces in the UK. In 2010 he published the Sunday Times bestselling autobiography Life and Laughing, with the second part, A Funny Life, published in 2021. As one of the world’s leading comedians, Michael has toured the globe performing for adoring fans. In 2013 he landed in South Africa, performing the biggest comedy show in Africa for 9000 fans. He was the highest-selling comedian in 2012 and became the biggest-selling artist in the history of the O2 arena. Michael has won many awards for his works as one of the world’s most well-known and influential comedians. He holds a Best Entertainment Performance award from BAFTA, Best Male TV Comic and Best Stand-Up from British Comedy Awards, and Best Tour and Best Headliner from the Chortle Awards. Michael has also been nominated for several other accolades, including the Perrier Award, Billboard Touring Awards and RTS Awards.
